Dr. Sharp provides a full range of orthodontic treatment, for children, adolescents and adults. Dr Sharp received his dental degree (DMD) from UBC. His orthodontic specialty training was done at UCLA. Dr Sharp grew up in Victoria. He graduated from Oak Bay High School and then attended UVic for two years. He transferred to UBC to complete a BSc in biology and an MSc in zoology, prior to going to dental school at UBC. After graduation as a dentist he worked for two years as a general dentist in Quesnel, BC. He then returned to academia to pursue a PhD in genetics at the University of Guelph. He then did post-doctoral research in human medical genetics at the University of Toronto and Stanford University, prior to going to UCLA for orthodontic training. When not working, Dr Sharp loves to spend time with his wife, Li, and their three children, Will, John and Christina.
