Dr. Cronin earned his dental degree at the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario, and then practiced dentistry for a year in Ottawa. This was followed by a two-year period at the School of Dental Therapy in Fort Smith, N.W.T., where he taught basic dental procedures to Dental Therapists and traveled throughout the North, visiting remote communities and setting up basic treatment plans for the therapists to follow. He returned to the University of Western Ontario, where he earned his specialization in orthodontics, and was awarded the Canadian Dental Research Award, which was an award presented by the Canadian Dental Association for the most outstanding research paper in any field of dental research in Canada. Upon graduation, he opened a practice in Langley, B.C., where he has since been providing quality orthodontic care to Langley, Surrey and Fraser Valley families. Dr. Cronin has completed a comprehensive course in occlusion and facial aesthetics at the Roth Williams Institute in Burlingame, CA, and annually attends orthodontic specialist continuing education courses, conventions and meetings, both nationally and internationally, enabling him to stay at the forefront of his specialty so that he can provide the most optimal, evidence based care to his patients.
