"Dr. Matt“ grew up in Tsawwassen and has been a part of the practice for many years either as a patient or an employee. He completed his Bachelor of Science (Microbiology) at UBC in 2002 and his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at UBC in 2007, after which he spent a year as a full-time pediatric dental resident at the Toronto Hospital for Sick Children providing dental care for children with medical complications. He spent three years at the University of Alberta for his graduate training in orthodontics at the University of Alberta and returned to our office in 2011. He has published articles in the Journal of the American Dental Association and has conducted research in dental aesthetics as part of his Master of Science degree in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. Dr. Matt currently lives in Steveston where he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter. His favorite leisure activities include downhill and cross-country skiing, scuba diving, skimboarding, hiking, camping, and (especially) gaming.
