Dr. Cziraki obtained a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Toronto. After a period of time teaching high school science, she returned to university to pursue her Doctorate in Dental Surgery. Going on to complete an internship at the Toronto Hospital, Dr. Cziraki practiced general dentistry in Ottawa and then Vancouver before returning to the University of Toronto, where she earned a Masters of Science degree specializing in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics. Dr. Cziraki has been an accredited orthodontic specialist since 2001. Additional to standard orthodontics, her specialized training enables the treatment of malocclusions and facial esthetics in both children and adults. Dr. Cziraki is a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon (Honourary International Scholastic Dental Society). She has been distinguished with the American Association of Orthodontists’ Thomas Graber Award for her research in digital radiography. Dr. Cziraki is a Fellow in the Royal College of Dentists of Canada, a Certified Dental Specialist in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of British Columbia and Ontario, and is board eligible for the American Board of Orthodontics. Dr. Cziraki is also a clinical professor at the University of British Columbia’s faculty of dentistry, instructing in undergraduate level orthodontics.
